| The Keys to Your Heart | You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved. You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change. You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance.Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred. In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily. |

| I'm off for my first day of actual student teaching! I have to start of the semester....so we'll see how I do.
| | |
| It's my last week of officially not being in the "Adult World." I
start my student teaching on monday. I will be teaching 3 senior
englishes at Pisgah High School. I only found out about 3 days
ago for sure that this is what I would be teaching...so I have nothing
prepared to walk into this endeavor.
I still can't get enough of the new Taproot CD. This is the most
excited I have been over a CD in years, it feels great; it's
almost like a small glimmer of the type of happiness I once had
remains...so maybe there is hope to not fully fall down the
spirel.
I was watching Sin City last night and one line caught me in the Marv
story. The narrator said that he was living in the wrong century
because he could have been home on the battlefield weilding a
battle-axe and shoving it into someone's head. I think I'm
begining to beleive I came around in the wrong century, or at least the
wrong decade. I wish I could have been around during the
Renasaince, a time when education was truley learning and
understanding. This bullshit system that we call Education today
is nothing but a mockery of learning, at least in the sense that some
of the "world's greatest thinkers" such as Socrates, Ben Jonson, John
Donne, and John Milton. In the times these men grew up in,
learning was about actually taking it upon oneself to learn, and to get
advice and guidience from someone older and wiser along the way.
Perhaps the last great American showing of this, at least in a literary
sense, was by Emerson's guidiance of Thoureau. Now the "education
system" is about minor brainwashing...making 'testing' and 'scores' to
seem the most important thing in a students life instead of what he or
she actually has learned. Regurgitation of mindless answers are
all that is in the curriculum. There is no time for actual
learning in the sense of the three I mentioned early mean it to
be. Also what is up with people being lazy? I mean does no
one actually beleive that he or she should have to work for a paycheck
anymore? Are things supposed to be given to every yokel who can't
get up off his or her lazy ass? It is also a time when morality
has no meaning, everything is based around what is legal and what is
not; however the striking irony of the matter is that it seems that
everything that goes against morality and legality is fine, yet things
such as speaking what you beleive, or any time of self-defense becomes
almost impossible to be seen as "right" in the "blind eyes" of the
law.
Well before this rant that I know no one will read anyways gets any longer, I will call it a night.
